So the Asus ROG phone is here and is the best gaming phone yet in the market. It's true that since it is not a pc, you won't  find yourself being able to play pc games and stuff like that. But in terms of mobile gaming and obtaining graphics of a really high quality can be achieved with this amazing piece of a device. 

Priced at 69999 in India, this beast packs in some really good specs and is literally worth every penny you pay.

Firstly, the design. 

This guy has an amazing design and a smooth finish which would surely trigger the eyes of many with one look. The camera and the fingerprint sensor itself has this hexagonal type of a design which brings out the gamer kind of feeling. The ROG also comes with a customisable led of the 'Republic Of Gamers' logo at the back of the phone which looks amazing. The cooling system is another very cool feature of the ROG and something that is very much needed for a phone with hardcore specs.

For a bit of the spec sheet, the ROG phone runs on the latest chipset by Snapdragon which is the Snapdragon 845 which is said to be more battery efficient and extra added performance and an octacore processor.

STORAGE:

It  has 8GB ram and 128GB of internal storage which is usable upto 101GB with no expandable storage.

BATTERY:

It also has a very huge battery of 4000mah and very good enough for the whole day of usage.

CAMERA:

The ROG has a pretty decent camera which takes some really good shots and video shooting is also very good. You can shoot both 1080p and 4k resolution videos at 60 fps which also adds to the overflowing spec sheet of the beast.

SOFTWARE:

Out of the box, you'll have the ROG phone installed with the android Oreo after which you would also get updates to other versions of the OS.

What actually are the biggest attractions of the ROG phone is that it has a ton of different features and accessories that provide various and very useful functions that would also improve the experience in high end gaming. The first thing is that all these accessories come together in an ROG themed suitcase which is kind of overhyped for a smartphone but is the right hype that 'The gamers' are attracted to and really want.

Asus ROG desktop base: 

It is one of those accessories that would help in receiving data from the phone and using the phone on a bigger screen and using a mouse-keyboard combination. Something similar to the Samsung Dex.

Asus twin view game pad:

With an inbuilt screen at the bottom that looks exactly like the phone's screen itself, it can be used to give an extended display of the games that support extended display or can also be used for multi tasking on two independent screens.

The WiGig wireless base:

Here's one of the best accessories in the case. It acts like a wireless receiver to enable playing on your TV or monitor. Basically, it acts as a mediator between your big screen and your phone.

The GameVice controller:

Simple to explain. A traditional play station controller with a screen in the centre. Yep, you can actually fit your phone in the middle of this controller and play incase you are in the mood of playing with a controller.

The Asus professional dock:

You can have two usb ports and an HDMI port connected to your phone with this accessory here by wired connections. Although we are in the age where wireless seems to be dominating the wired community, at times you might look back at the traditional methods of the wired generation.

External cooling system:

Exactly! The ROG actually comes with an external cooling fan when having hardcore gaming running on the device. It is like a clip-on accessory.

Now with such specs and accessories in a phone, we come to a realisation that it isn't just any smartphone but is a beast that not everyone will buy but will surely be a must buy option for all you gamers out there.
