The Oneplus 7 series:
Oneplus has yet again come up with their new series of smartphones for the year 2019 and it is the oneplus 7 series. Surprisingly, even before the Oneplus 7 was introduced, the beast was unleashed; the Oneplus 7 pro! This very phone has created history in the world of smartphones. It has brought in many people into the interest of Oneplus and has recieved an immense happy response from the customers.Oneplus 7:
The Oneplus 7 is the successor of the 7 pro and has very close similarities. It actually is an upgraded version of the Oneplus 6T and is very close to the 7 pro on paper. What would interest us more is the difference between the two devices.SCREEN:
It is probably the most obvious difference between the two devices. The oneplus 7 has the same screen design of the oneplus 6t with tear drop notch or a water droplet which is what they call it. It also has a slightly smaller screen at 6.41" compared to the 7 pro's massive 6.67" display.
CAMERA:
The Oneplus 7 has a dual camera setup while the 7 pro has a triple camera setup. The primary 48MP camera is the common one between the two. The 7 misses out on the 3x zoom lens.
BATTERY:
The 7 pro has a huge 4000mah battery whereas the 7 has a slightly smaller 3700mah battery which means shorter battery life on the 7 compared to the 7 pro by a few minutes.PRICE:
The oneplus 7 is almost Rs.16000 ($200) cheaper than the the oneplus 7 pro which starts at Rs.48000 ($700). Although, the oneplus 7 pro is the most expensive oneplus device ever made, it certainly provides a lot for the price compared to other super expensive smartphones that cross the Rs.70000 mark ($1000).So the main question, is the oneplus 7 series devices worth it or no?
A big YES! Anyone would love to go for phones that are affordable and provide the best at a lower price point. Undoubtedly, the oneplus 7 series is the best in the premium segment smartphones right now.

The Oneplus 7 series was revealed to the world with the introduction of the Oneplus 7 pro. With its high-end specifications, elegant design and a refurbished design, the Oneplus 7 pro is undoubtedly the phone of the year so far . It has also become the favourite of many young content creators and vloggers.The very uniqueness of this beast and probably one of the most distinct features of the device is the 90hz screen refresh rate. Many people do not understand the importance of a higher refresh rate on a smartphone.
To give a basic introduction of a screen refresh rate, it is the basis on which one determines the smoothness of the touch and response time of the screen on a smartphone.

The Oneplus 7 pro also sports in Snapdragon's latest chipset which is the snapdragon 855 which makes the phone battery efficient and at the same time powerful.The battery on the 7 pro is one of the biggest drawbacks of the device. With a high battery consuming display, the 4000mah battery cannot seriously not withstand the power of that display. The phone can probably only last you around 4 hours of screen on time with hardcore usage. Looking over to the brighter side of this is that the 7 pro sports in the warp charging which first got introduced in the Oneplus 6T. That charger, I must say, is a beast for sure! It charges up your device upto 50% in 20 minutes which is amazingly fast!
The 48MP back camera is also very good but cannot be claimed as the best in the market when the pixel 3 and the S10 are put into comparison. It also has a wide angle lens and a 3X zoom lens which is a perfect camera setup on a smartphone.
The popup camera is another distinct feature of the beast. Acclaimed to have been tested over 300,000 times, Oneplus claims that the popup camera can be opened and closed 150 times everyday for 5 years which shows the durability of the motorized camera.
Overall, the Oneplus 7 pro is hands down the best phone of 2019 so far .We shouldn't be surprised to see other upcoming smartphones sporting in the 90hz display with a 90% screen to body ratio.
